Villa Park

I was planning to visit my relatives who live near Stansted airport. I was travelling from Norwich to Stansted. One day before my travel I packed my bag. My stay was almost 2 days there. I was going there via flight. My flight time was early in the morning. I booked a cab from the company as they were providing many services to their customers and they had good ratings. So I booked a minicab from them. They were also providing flight tracking services to their customers. I also got to know that they were providing the cab service for their customers all over the UK. That was surprising to me. I reached Norwich airport on time and took my flight.

After some time I landed at the airport and went to my relative's house while using the same cab company. The cab service was very good the drivers were very friendly and easy to communicate with. My relatives live near Stansted airport. My relatives were happy and they welcomed me. My cousin was a fan of the football game. He told me that he is going to the match. That was in the Villa Park Stadium. He also told me he has two tickets with himself and he invited me to also. I agreed and decided to go there. The match was on the next day. He booked a cab from the company and we left the house. The distance was almost 123 miles from the Stansted airport to the Villa Park Stadium. Villa Park is a football stadium located in Birmingham. The seating capacity is almost 43000. Villa Park is the home ground of Aston Villa FC. The ground has four stands. The ground was full greeny. This ground has a vast history. Villa Park hosted games in various international competitions and was the only English stadium to hold international football in three separate centuries.

The stadium hosted four Euro '96 matches and three 1966 World Cup games. The first England international game was played there in 1899, and the most recent was in 2005. The stadium has held sixteen international games in total. There have been several Cup tournaments held at Villa Park. It has hosted more FA Cup semifinals than any other venue with 55 in total. Preachers and musicians of many genres have both performed in Villa Park. Additionally, the stadium has held several rock performances. The stadium was near Witton Railway station.

In February 2021 the stadium was used for the covid-19 vaccination centre as well. The match was between Aston Villa the home ground team and the other team Crystal Palace. Both were playing well and the fans were enjoying the game. Both teams did 1-1 goal. The result was drawn. The stadium was full of fans and spectaculars. The crowd was very energetic. After watching the match we went to the nearby restaurant and bought burgers from them. We came back to our home in the same cab as we booked a day hire service from the company. The journey was easy and comfortable and reasonable too. We enjoyed ourselves a lot there and reached home safely.
