Whipsnade Zoo

My brother and his family were visiting us this upcoming summer. So we made a plan to take our children to the zoo. We decided to go there via a cab service. I searched on the web and got so many results about cab services. I got to know about the company cab service. Their reviews were very positive and ratings were high. I visited their website and booked a van from them as they were providing the van service as well. Their charges were reasonable. We have to travel from Gatwick Airport as we live near to the airport. The distance was seventy-two miles from there. The company drive time was almost one hour and twenty-five minutes. We followed the M25 route. We reached on time there.

Formerly known as Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is a zoo and safari park situated in Whipsnade, Bedfordshire, England, close to Dunstable. The park covers 600 acres. Due to its size, inside the park, visitors may walk, use the zoo's bus service, drive their own cars between the various animal enclosures, or through an 'Asian' area, where a few animals are permitted to go around freely around the cars. There was a train service named Jumbo express. The Whipsnade Zoo is the UK’s largest zoo and one of Europe's largest wildlife conservation parks.

It is home to 3,626 animals, many of which are endangered in the wild. The zoo opened in 1931. African hunting dogs were there. It is opened in 2007. It is located in the former wolf enclosure. There is a butterfly house as well. The butterfly house opened in 2016. There were many species of butterflies and West African dwarf crocodiles, it is a walkthrough exhibit so the people can see the flying butterflies. The house is one of the largest moths in the world.

There were many Bactrain camels, barasingha, fallow deer, sika deer and Pere David’s deer. People can go there via their own vehicles or via a train service which runs in the zoo that is the Jambo Express Train. There were too many elephants as well. The zoo has almost nine Asian elephants. The zoo has the Rhinos of Nepal. There were llamas, cows, silkie chickens, horses, donkeys, goats and etc. The lions were there also. Our children were enjoying their time and they were very much excited. That was a full joyful experience for us.

We spent a great ay with our family. There were many places for kids' picnics. The place was great to walk and can see the animals. Animals were healthy and the zoo was very neat and clean. The parking was very great outside the zoo. The zoo is also providing a membership facility as well you can avail yourself of the membership very easily. We spend a lot of time there and enjoyed our time. The cab service was good and the driver was friendly and easy to communicate with. I must say you should visit this zoo with your family and kids.
